We're going to Dance

We heard of Boogie Fever, but the Epidemic of Dancing? It sounds crazy, but that's exactly what happened back in 1518 to the inhabitants of Strasbourg, France.

It all started with one woman named Frau Troffea. One hot July day, she took to the streets and just began dancing in a frenzy of twists and twists. Till night time, she kept dancing, and she didn't quit until she collapsed with fatigue.

We might end up there now, and it would still be a weird story. The very insane thing, though, is that it did not end. Frau Troffea, dancing away in the streets, picked up right where she had left off early the next morning. What more strange was that others had begun to join her in uncontrollable dancing within a week.
